Gamesters Billiard Sales and Service was founded in 1992 with extraordinary effort, by long time martial artist, pool player, turned entrepreneur George Gabriel Jr, with Alan Babin former owner of Atlas Amusements, and manufacturing. With Babin’s shrewdness and zest, and Gabriel’s leadership and creativity, the joint effort was successful right out of the gate. However after months of discussion to originate the project, the partnership was short lived. Stemming from different business philosophies and Babin’s desire to put his attention in a different endeavor, Gamesters Billiard Sales and Service was bought out by Gabriel after only a five month affiliation.

Gabriel proceeded with a strong focus and commitment to offer distinct well made product, and personalized service. Hosting a showroom in a historical building filled with numerous pool table models, custom cues, billiard lighting, and accessories, it was a unique store for this era.  The objective was to be the best place to buy a pool table in Connecticut. Supported by customer feedback and satisfaction this intent was accomplished. The momentum continued and the customer base advanced to nationwide, and worldwide, via it’s website in the early 2000s. The core product line also progressed to furniture poker tables, and furniture home bars, being the first billiard dealer known to propose this.

With the significance of technology the landscape of the billiard industry has transformed, as it has for nearly every business. Recognizing this change, and the ever desire for consumer convenience Gamesters Billiard Sales and Service displays their product lineup via its website conclusively.

Continuing to thrive on performance, keeping in mind at the center of business is what the customer wants, and not what the dealer wants.
